A Veteran’s Guide to Accessing Benefits and Legal Rights

The contributions of our Veterans are beyond measure, and they’ve earned the right to the benefits and support that come with their service. Understanding how to navigate Veteran benefits can be a challenge for some. This guide will help you understand how to access your benefits, understand your rights and ensure you have the support you need as you transition to civilian life.

Where Do Your Benefits Come from?

Veteran benefits come from various government programs and agencies that are designed to support military service members and their families while making the transition back to civilian life. The source of benefits is enforced by the U.S. Federal Government, specifically through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Many states have their own Veteran benefit programs, including healthcare, education assistance and text exemption.
